3 Ways to Style Boot Cut Jeans this Fall

Hey friends!

How exciting is it that this year, boot cut jeans are coming back in spite of the skinny jean take over the last decade! For one, boot cut jeans are SO MUCH MORE COMFY- am I right?! Also, I feel that boot cut jeans are definitely appropriate for all ages!

Boot cut jeans taper out slightly at the knee to allow a boot to fit comfortably under them. They are not bell-bottoms or flared jeans, which taper out much more.

Goodwill racks are full of this style jeans and thrifting a pair is the perfect way to try out this style if it’s foreign to you. Check out three ways you can style them below!

I love how long cardigans balance out an outfit. Dark wash boot cut jeans look great with a camel cardigan, chunky heeled boots, and a fun hat!

My mom is rocking camel colored booties, a chambray top and a lightweight sweater with her medium wash boot cut jeans!

A bright peplum top also gives boot cut or flared jeans a modern twist. (These are considered a flare jean, see how they taper out much more than necessary for a boot to fit?)

However you style your boot cut jeans, have fun with it! Style them into winter too with pea coats and puffer vests.

  1. I have been waiting for this moment for the past 15 years! I hate how constricting and uncomfortable skinny pants can be. Although they flatter my body, I just can’t tolerate wearing them. So excited for the return of bootcut! (although I wore them before it was cool, lol)
