Snoga Athletics Review: Ankle Faux Wrap

Hello hello!

Today I’m going to share another SNOGA Athletics review. My first review was 3 years ago almost, and wow, SNOGA has really upped their game since then! They now offer so many different modest workout wear options including tops!

I purchased the Ankle Faux Wrap skirt in Heather Gray. It fits exactly how I’d hoped and it is so stinkin’ comfortable! The color is great for all year round. When working out in it, sweat won’t show through and it’s a classy color so you can dress it up or down!

In my first review I mentioned that the only thing I would have changed about the SNOGA skirt I got, is that the seam for the leggings ran up the back on the leg. Well- my wish was answered. The seam is now in the inside of the leg and it’s perfect!

My last SNOGA skirt was a size XS and when I got it, I did wish I would have ordered a Small. That’s was I purchased in the Ankle Faux Wrap and it is not to tight or clingy- but the waist fits well and isn’t too tight. I would say it is TRUE TO SIZE. I get really self-conscious of my hips in bottoms like this, especially with the spandex/polyester material. I think that the wrap skirt is very flattering and moves well with you as you move and doesn’t gets too tight as you bend or move around. I think if I was to order another straight skirt, I’d probably size up to a medium to avoid that.

The only “unexpected” thing about this skirt I guess you could say, is that the “faux wrap” label is a little misleading. The skirt isn’t sewn shut on the wrap seam. It does open up a little bit for movement. Just FYI. I included a photo of me sitting down in the skirt though to show that it stays shut while seated 🙂

This skirt also washes up really well. I had no issues with shrinkage.

I really recommend this modest active wear- and don’t forget, these skirts are safe in chlorine! So they make a great option for the pool or beach as well! I have my eye on this adorable Swing SNOGA… 😉
