Subtle in Suede
So if you haven’t noticed… suede is definitely having a moment this Fall.
But the thing isssss… all I keep seeing is like micro mini skirts in a beautiful shade of camel colored suede. And it’s annoying. Like- WHY can’t that be about 12 inches longer?
But- awesomely enough, I found an extremely gently used Ann Taylor suede midi skirt at my local thrift shop for 6 bucks. It’s the most lovely shade of chocolate brown. I can’t believe it but I even found a link to the skirt– it’s from the winter collection last season at Ann Taylor. One of my best scores if I do say so myself… This blogger and this blogger really styled the camel colored one in a cute way π
Ok – I’m happy now π
I love the look of suede. It’s more subtle than a full out leather look but it can be dressed up or down.
This is how I am currently rocking it:
I also found this beautyΒ on thredUP:
I figured out that if you type in ‘leather skirt’ instead of ‘suede skirt’ you can more easily filter all of the selections π
