SheTraveled Review: The Casablanca Skirt
Hello! Today I am reviewing a skirt from the company She Traveled. She Traveled is a clothing company that specializes in Modest Apparel that is functional and cute!
This skirt is from She Traveled’s African Collection and is called the Casablanca in the color Emerald but also comes in a beautiful neutral color called Oyster. It is made of 100% polyester, has a side zipper, and is 30 inches long. This skirt is made up of 3 parts – a slip, a layer of tulle lining and the top layer. It is thick enough to wear without a slip- which I am a HUGE fan of, and the fit of this skirt is designed to sit at your natural waist. And I love a good high waist ed midi skirt.
I truly think this skirt can be worn year-round, and there are so many possibilities on how to style it.
Here are just a few:
I can’t believe I found a top that matched this skirt exactly- but this ‘perfect tee’ by The Limited was basically the same emerald color and the first look I’ll show you basically makes this look like a dress- which if you ask me- now it’s like 2 for the price of 1!
I’ve seen a lot of my fellow bloggers showing off their cute chambray top looks this summer and I thought I would join in on this! What a great topper for the Casablanca skirt especially on cooler summer nights!! ๐
I also think this color is beautiful with pink tones. Paired with a gingham button down, this skirt instantly becomes the cutest preppy girl staple!
Overall I am super thrilled with the cut, fit, and feel of the Casablanca Skirt. I love how it flows, it’s versatility, and how comfortable it is!

I like the preppy look the best! By the way, what kind of camera do you use? And do you have any tips for photo shoots? I kind of dread them because I don’t want to get too into it and “pose” too much, but yet I want it to turn out good also! lol
Hi Elizabeth!
Thank you! I use a Nikon DSLR. My husband has gotten really good at taking my pics and to be honest I kind of wing it everytime. But I know what you mean- I dread “shoots” and I think I can count on one hand how many I’ve actually done at a “destination”. I go places where hopefully no one will see me… (hehe)
That green and pink combo is totally adorable! I’m not a tall girl, only 5’4″, so I’m wondering how long this skirt would be on me. You look pretty tall? Also, I am in love with those shoes! The heels! โค ๐กโค
Hi Bethany! I appreciate the compliment- but I am only 5’3″! So I think this skirt would look lovely on you ๐ And thank you- the shoes were a clearance find at Nordstrom Rack, I was pretty pumped!
