LuLaRoe Review: The Carly Dress

I’m so so excited about today’s blog collaboration featuring LuLaRoe by Shayna Walker!

Shayna reached out to me and asked me to style a few pieces from her LuLaRoe shop today and share my experience with you all.

First though, let me tell you a little bit about Shayna:

1. Where are you from?

I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but have lived in California, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Arizona.

2. When did you start selling LuLaRoe?

I started selling LuLaRoe in June 2016.

3. Why did you start selling LuLaRoe?

I started selling LuLaRoe because I needed something different in my life. I just finished a masters degree and my fiancé and I found out we were moving to Denver. I had to quit my full-time job at a university and just did not know what I wanted to do. My LuLaRoe sponsor talked with me about joining and to me it just made sense. It made sense because I was really struggling with my health and did not feel great. Wearing LuLaRoe made me so happy. I am a two time melanoma skin cancer survivor, and the January before I started LuLaRoe, I was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that causes severe chronic pain. Due to this disorder, I’ve had to have surgery on my ankle and both hips. I’ve already had surgery on my right hip and in February I will be having surgery on my left hip. Through all my trials with my health, LuLaRoe has always been there and made me feel good. I know it’s weird to say clothes make you feel good, but its not just about the clothes, its about the community and how I make other women feel. I truly believe clothing can change your like. LuLaRoe has make me feel great and in addition, I am able to make my customer happy while giving them the opportunity to feel beautiful in their bodies.

NOW- let’s dive into the LuLaRoe product I got to style!

I styled the Carly Dress. I’m wearing a size XS for reference – this dress runs large, so talk to Shayna if you are not sure. She is a tremendous help!

This dress is so easy to just throw on and go- it’s got a high neckline and comes to your knees depending on your height (the size I got was perfect in length for me)

You can’t go wrong with LuLaRoe and Leather 😉

I added a nice big statement necklace for this outfit along with my leather jacket.

This is the Monroe Kimono in a size Small. This comes in sizes Small and Large. The fringe is so much fun and it’s a great piece to add interest to any plain dress 🙂

The Monroe is $48.

This dress is SO versatile which is not surprising of LuLaRoe. They truly make pieces that you can mix and match with almost anything!

I think this was my favorite way I styled this dress- with a chunky knit scarf, a jean jacket, and brown riding boots!

And now, I introduce to you… the softest, coziest leggings of ALL TIME! These are basically one size fits all. There are regular, and tall and curvy size.
