#BramblewoodThrifted Blog Event (Day 1) + The Perfect Every day Dress

Today is the start of Bramblewood Fashion’s Blog Event– #BramblewoodThrifted! Ashley and her sister, Gabrielle are putting on a 3 day event where bloggers connect to share their springtime inspirational outfits and this time around we are focusing on items we found second hand! This is totally up my alley so I’m a big fan!

The outfit I’m featuring today is from thredUP. This Land’s End cotton polo dress is AMAZING. I picked it up for $19.35 after my 10% coupon and I am so glad I found it! This dress is so light and airy but could definitely be trans-seasonal which is a great plus! It’s already very modest to begin with so I just wore a tank top half tee underneath so I didn’t have to button it all the way and although the material is thick enough to go without a slip, I threw on a half slip because I think it just smooths every thing out if ya know what I mean :-P.

The wedges I’m wearing are from the DSW sale rack last summer. They are Aerosoles so they are SUPER comfy and they match well too 🙂

I really think this dress would be ideal for busy moms who want something easy to throw on when they have to run out with the kids or just to put something light AND pretty on to take the kids to the park 🙂 It would go great with sneakers, flip flops, or flats and in the Winter, you could put on tights, boots, and a sweater! Wah-lah. Perfect every-day dress.

Unfortunately this EXACT dress is no longer for sale at Land’s End, but here are a couple other similar options if this one really speaks to you 🙂

LLBean – $59.95

Land’s End – $24.97

Also, I saw one exactly like mine in red on thredUp and several other cotton tshirt like dresses here. The quality is great and I love that it is a-line. I sit at a desk all day and by the time I leave, if I’m wearing a cotton dress, I’ve had issues with it poofing out in the back. I really dislike that and I’m very picky about t-shirt material dresses. But this one is wrinkle free, easy to wash and wears great!

Here is a link to the shoes (not the striped ones, but they are available in several solid colors- seriosuly, they’re so comfy).

I hope you enjoyed this springtime outfit!

Keep on keeping on!

  1. Thredup is awesome! And I have to admit, polo dresses have never looked appealing to me on the rack or in thredup photos but this looks fabulous!

    1. Hi Kira! I love thredUP … probably too much hehe. Not all polo dresses are created equal, so i get that. Lands End really has a high quality in their products so i think thats what pushed me to try this 🙂
